Fit4Life Festival is a fun charity day for all ages, focused around promoting active sports and healthy living, as well as raising money for The Macmillan Cancer Horizon Centre.
Fit4Life Festival was created in 2015 by Focus Performance – an online sports nutrition provider. Director Martin Hayman, was motivated to create the event in memory of his mum, Liz, who lost her battle with cancer in 2013.
In 2015, Martin and co-founder of Focus Performance, Scott Reid have taken Focus Performance down a different route, developing a clean range of supplements, such as zero sugar and organic products, and promoting healthy lifestyles. Knowing that nutrition and diet is very important to those battling cancer they both decided that having a strong charity element to everything they do was very important to their business ethics and personal motivation and so starting the Fit4Life Festival made sense.
